2021 Waste Removal Changes

The current Waste Removal contractor “Ron’s Disposal Services” was the winning bid for the 2021 waste removal contract. There will be some changes that should benefit everyone.

The collection day will remain the same: Wednesdays, with every second week being recycle collections.

Starting January 2021, instead of a once a year “Spring Bulk Curb Side Pick-Up”, it will happen every week. Therefore, if you have something that needs to be disposed of, you can put it out with your weekly garbage. For metals (appliances, etc.) this material can go out with the recycle schedule, i.e. every second week.

We do however ask that during the winter months, if a snowfall is forecasted for a Wednesday, then you should wait to put out your bulk items until the following week. This way, it doesn’t get buried in snow.

Garbage Notes:

  • Do not overload your garbage bags.
  • No dead animals or hunting caracsses permitted.
  • Ensure your garbage box is accessible, and free from snow and ice.

Recycle Notes:
